Do you expect an update to work with Piwigo version 2.7.*?
Is that a different plugin that offers similar functionality in Piwigo version 2.7.*?
Thank you
Done. I just updated plugin.

Hi
Great plugin however would it be possible to save the tags automatically. So when a user adds a tag it is saved and when a user removes a tag it is removed without the need for the user to click on the "Save" button. I feel this would really streamline tag entering!
Thanks

Does this write the tags out to the file as well, or just the database? If the latter, how hard would it be to add the ability to write out the metadata?

only database (exactly like the standard tags management)
try [extension by plg] Write Metadata

Thanks. I wanted to be able to have this done automatically when a user adds/deletes tags.
I don't think the writemeta extension will do this automatically will it?

nope, Piwigo itself is not intended to modify the files

Hmmm... I'll have to take a look at the usertags extension and see if I can get that coded in.
It's important as my users are family members who I only want to tag photos, not admin the site, and I don't know when they'll be modifying tags...
At 40k+ pictures, writing out the metadata for all is not a task I'd like to perform routinely...

Great plugin, many thanks for your work on it. It works nearly perfect for me, but there is one little issue.
My users are allowed to add tags from a given list. Deletion of tags is granted to admins. If a user tries to delete a tag, he gets a red warning. But if he tries to delete one or more tags and adds one or more tags in the same session, he gets the green hint 'tags updated' although the added tags aren't saved.
Tia for any help.

I have a fresh install of Piwigo and User Tags. I have 'Who can Add Tags' set to Administrators. When I open another browser and login, I'm not seeing any place for user tags.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm currently using 'elegant'. I've tried 'smartpocket' and 'Sylvia'
Any ideas?
I do not understand. With current piwigo release and last user tags release with theme elegant it works. Do you have an url to test ?

I'll set up a new URL to let you see.
