I ran into an issue with the stripped theme.   Stripped configuration: Photo > Image Size = Large

The issue is, when in "Picture Page" mode, such as here:

... with the theme option of "Resize image to fit window" set to ACTIVE,  then panoramas get "scaled up" (enlarged) some 10-20% above the "Large" width picture setting for some odd reason, and they look very blurry - as you can see in the link above if you maximize your browser window.

This happens with any browser (Firefox, Chrome, Epiphany), as long as the browser window is large enough (e.g. make your browser window 1900px wide)  - with tiny browser windows, the photo is scaled down and  then all panos look good.

This only happens with panoramas (with very large W:H ratios), and it happens consistently - all of them are affected. Normal 4:3 pictures are not scaled up. In the example above, move to the "previous" picture and see that the width of it is ~20% smaller (and it has the correct "Large" width) - and it looks sharp.

Also, click on the image above and see it on a lightbox of the same size as the "stripped" picture page: it looks tack sharp. Click again and you will see the 1:1 original, also sharp.


Disabling "Resize image to fit window" in the stripped theme configuration SOLVES the problem: the up-scaling disappears and all photos (panos and otherwise) look OK. The problem obviously is that this is very inconvenient when the user has a small browser window, or low-res display.

I tested other themes including "elegant" and they DO NOT have this problem.
But... I like stripped most. Any tip on how this can be fixed?
