Great, looking forward to that, thanks!
Thanks for this plugin that allow to a community to easily share the same gallery.
In my configuration, all members have high trust state, and so their pictures are meant to be visible immediately (without moderation of the admin / webmaster).
When a member with webmaster / admin rights upload pictures with the web form flash uploader, the pictures are immediately visible.
But when a member with visitor rights upload picture with the web form flash uploader, the pictures are not visibles. Indeed, they are not visible in the community plugin admin page as "pending pictures", but just on the batch manger part when looking for "last import", they are shown as "pending" in "admin view only". Changing the rights (from Admin to family for instance) solve the problem.
But if the same member with visitor rights upload picture with pLoader, so pictures are put with the right chosen by the member (everybody, friends, family,...) and so are visible immediately to the target people.
Why uploading through the web form flash uploader necessarily puts picture in admin view only ?
Is there something to do to change this behaviour ?
I have tried to uninstall and re-install the plugin without solving this issue.

I guess your user is not trusted enough. Try in the administration interface: plugin -> community -> tab "upload permissions", and add "high trust" to the users you want.

Thanks for you reply.
Indeed, as I said in my previous message, all members of my gallery are with high level trust (only 2 levels in community plugin) and photos are not shown in pending sections of community plugin anyway.

Ah, I read too quickly. Sorry for the noise, then.

Is there any solution to upload via IE? Our company's software is ancient, and I'd like to give my users the option. Chrome works ok, but most folks use the company default of IE 8 on XP.

I also prefer the new form. Nice work! Would be very nice to have it soon in the Community plugin. In many cases admins do not upload at all, the new form will not be usable (or even visible) until it is integrated into the plugin. All these extra patches and fixes for IE will never end until masses of users complain and change to other browsers, so MS will change there attitude. So please don't patch for IE any more. Just comply to standards.
Thanks again!

Plugin is great!
But one problem i have.
When i activate with LocalFiles Editor:
$conf['question_mark_in_urls'] = false;
Cannot create sub albums and the flashfilm for imageupload do not start.
Rootpath not correct i think.
Hi,
it would be great if i could give my users the permissions to edit certain albums.
Specifically renaming them/rearranging them. This would help us a lot in managing our family gallery. Without letting everyone edit everything.

Hello everyone.
In our gallery we get this error and no way of uploading to the gallery:
Notice: Undefined index: community in mysite / plugins / community / main.inc.php on line 42
we have the version 2.7.3 of piwigo
A greeting.
Well, I reinstalled everything and it seems that now works, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
A greeting.
I recently migrated from Menalto gallery and was missing non-admin photo upload functionality so very happy to find this.
However when I click 'Upload Photos' I receive the error below. If I ignore and start upload I am then presented with a blanks screen but photo has been uploaded.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for this, that was really something I was looking for in the Core features, but I understand you moved it out. Essential for my layout and setup.
