Piwigo use too many memory ram
Hello,
I have freshly install an nginx server. For testing, I have ask to do 1400 thumbail of png's pictures (4000x7000). It have take approx 8GB RAM and work 3 hours.
After it have stop to respond.

as mistic already answered you that's not Piwigo but imagemagick or GD which generates the pictures And on this forum answers were already given about pre generating resized pictures

You have right but put 2 questions on same thread, it is not best practice.

You'd better see IM forum to know how much ram the extension requires depending on your images sizes.
Piwigo itself does not consume any RAM (I mean far less than 1MB)
But I want to know when it create thumbnails, it do that one by one or it work on many picture in same time?
