Hi Everyone,
I have a question about image metadata.
I have about 23000 images and only some of them have metadata show up in Piwigo.
I do the "tool" test and I can't read a 'date' off the most of the images.
BUT the camera (Nikon Coolpix P520) shows the date on the camera and i also see it in Photoshop.
I do not see it in Piwigo.
How do I extract or show that date created from the image into Piwigo.
I do have IPTC and EXIF settings to "on" in the local config
$conf['show_exif_fields'] = array('Make',
'Model',
'DateTime',
'COMPUTED;ApertureFNumber');
Sample Image
Version 2.7.4
Thank you.

Hi
I'm pretty sure the date your camera and Photoshop show is only the creation date of the file, it's not an EXIF metadata
so just go to Configuration->Options->Display and enable the creation date field
unfortunately the time is not shown by Piwigo, this is something to be changed in the future

Thank you for the super quick reply.
I do have the "Created on" field checked.
I'll have to check on my camera settings to find out why this is not being stored as EXIF or IPTC.
I'd love to be able for Piwigo to read the dates of 13 years of my painting images.
By the way, I just donated $150 USD to "Team Piwigo"
Thanks again,

Still using G3 - anxious to do the 'live' switch to Piwigo.
