Upgrade issue (2.8.0)

Hello everyone,

It's good thing I test first on test environment, because only AFTER upgrade warnings that plugins or templates are disabled.

However after clicking upgrade I got these messages;
Notice: Undefined property: Smarty::$ext in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/include/smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 671

Fatal error: Call to a member function create() on null in /var/www/localhost/htdocs/include/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php on line 327

Tried to search the forum about it, but not able to find anything about it. Any advise what to do ... or do nothing?

However when I got back to the admin page I got the upgrade page.
So far I seems it's still working after enabled all the plugins and templates again, only had to upgrade one plugin so far. I wonder if there is no check up front where you can upgrade plugins before upgrade the main Piwigo?

Thanks,
Matthijs

Hello
you might try first to (re)upload all files by overwriting them

What do you mean by this, I used the upgrade button in Piwigo.
Or should I do a manually upgrade or something like that?

PS ... I just notice another strange behaviour. The default them doesn't work for me. When login as admin and select "Visit the gallery" it works fine. But plain to the website without login it shows incorrect theme. Thought all other themes are inactive. Currently using BlancMont XL.

My fault, even if you have one theme active it was no longer default. Making it default solved it. Bit strange that I had correct theme when logged-in.

Re: Upgrade issue (2.8.0)

Did manually upgrade, still same issue after installation. Though reloading page makes it disappear (strange!).

I also notice all my Extend (custum) Templates configuration was gone ...
