Another Info, I checked the User Status, the upload Menu line is available for Webmaster and Administrators only.

Hi :-)
With [extension by grum] Advanced Menu Manager, have you hide line in bloc menu ?
Can you test 'Purge compiled templates'
(Administration -> Tools -> Tools )

Hi,
so I checked - no lines are hidden. No change after 'Purge compiled templates'
Some problem!
I tried the following, login as Admin, copy link for upload picture page, e.g. http://www.fc-vhs-kaarst.de/index.php?/add_photos
Logout Admin and login as User, then open link for upload.
So a kind of simulation what happend if the link is shown in Menu when you login as User.
So nothing happen, when you open link, you jump back to main page http://www.fc-vhs-kaarst.de.
So for some reson the upload page is not available for User or the upload page /add_photos is not be generated.
What about my plugin versions, their are not the newest?
I see newer versions on Piwigo web side, but I can´t make automatic update.
Is there a possibility to make a manuel update?
Or, is it not an good Idea to make update yet?

Hello
Some bugs about plugin compatibility and user right managment were fixed with the last release of the plugin, but the last release is only compatible with Piwigo 2.4
For now, I can't tell you if fixed bug will solve the problem or not. Next week-end I'll have some time to do some tests and take a look about compatibility between AMM and the [extension by plg] Community

Hi, nothing helps. I tried so many thing that now my installation is destroyed.
I am realy disappointed. It is so much work to rebuild the web side and tell all User to upload their pictures again.
A reload of a backup does not work. :-(
http://www.fc-vhs-kaarst.de thats al I get in the moment.

For your information:
updates from Piwigo, Grum Classes and Advanced Menu Manager brought the "Upload Photo" link back. :-)
My other problem with the defect database is also fixed:

Thanks to the Forum. :-)

Hi
I'm a little bit late on this topic, but it seems that now (since bug [Bugtracker] ticket 2522 is fixed) Community plugin and AMM are compatible.

Same problem for me, different causes.
I'm new user of Piwigo.
Installed Piwigo 2.4.3 through CPanel on a HostGator shared server.
Community Plugin installed fine with Advanced Menu Manager one. Upload link appears in menu and works fine.
Activating Icy Modify Picture plugin:
1) upload link disappears from guests and users menu
2) admin keeps on seeing the link but clicking I get
Notice: Constant PHOTOS_ADD_BASE_URL already defined in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/plugins/community/add_photos.php on line 32
Notice: Undefined variable: selected_category in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/plugins/community/add_photos.php on line 304
Notice: Undefined variable: selected_category in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/plugins/community/add_photos.php on line 328
Deactivating it, upload link appears again and without notices.
I suppose an issue of compatibility with the two plugins.
Did anybody else face this?
Thanks to all

Have a similar problem:
When I install "Community" it´s possibly to upload pictures for users (if I set the rights in the group).
But if i install "Icy Modify Picture" the Upload-Link vanishes...
Any ideas?
Thank you!
It's 2016 and stilll not fixed.
