Hi!
I upload many images into my piwigo, mounted a network share into the upload directory, and update the database to the images pointed into this network shared directory.
(The normal directory sync is not good for me: read below)

Its working now, but wile I working on the pictures (fill the metadata), i'd like to synchronizate just the metadata. I try it but no files found.
It is possible to sync only the metadata the pictures what is just "uploaded"?

why not good for me the sync (TL):
I have lots of picture 100G+ and its not in the gallery based directory structure: each time of my life, i used different naming conversions, and the directory structure is based on than naming.
In the old days, i used analog cameras: praktica and nikon F80, and different material: negative, positive films:
[camera]
[film type]
   [Role number]
and in the modern days, i used digital camera and the structure based on date.

And i use digiKam to create categories, albums.

I'd like to separate the physical structure (folders/files) from the logical structure (albums)
I dont want to duplicate and/or move the pictures.
As I working on the pictures (add more metadata), i'd like this to update in the piwigo, without losing the comments, etc (so the delete/recreate not good)
