Hi all,

Am I correct in thinking there still is no option to show thumbnails of ALL albums including the ones that are password protected for specific users/groups?
The idea of course is that the login screen will appear the moment you click on a password protected album...
There also seem to be no plugins that can accomplish this.

The way it is now is 'all or nothing'... It would be very cool to have something in between as well :)

Are there any plans for such a feature? I can't imagine I'm the only one who would want this :)
And, when you say 'there is no automated way to do' this... Do you maybe have a suggestion on what would be the best way to approach this in order to custom create such functionality?

What I know of PHP is the bare minimum. That's why I was hoping something like this would be (or could become) a standard option.

well so far you are the only one that asked for it, but you don't want to do it yourself, so it seems highly unlikely.

I just wanted to know if:
1. it exists
2. if not, if such a feature might be on the road map for a future version

I think both are legitimate questions. However, it would appear the answer to both questions is: no.

Thanks for the suggestion that I actually write a plugin that can do what I want. The idea of doing that myself hadn't occured to me. And now I'm just saying that my PHP skills are not all that, which means it will most likely be a lot of trial and error.
But I never said I didn't want to do it.

I am now thinking that all the plugin would have to do is "if not logged in, show -this- on the main page"... Currently I do not now how to accomplish this, but I am going to give it a go.
Should anyone have any suggestions in this regard, feel free to comment ;)
