Delete Cache

Hi,

I have already deleted image sizes from the maintenance section. Just wondering why the backend of Piwigo 11 still shows a 150MB size of cache.

Just want to start clean after the update to Piwigo 11.

Is it save to delete all subfolders of the _data directory?

Cheers
Ralf

Re: Delete Cache

Do a du -h _data and see if it roughly matches 150MB, probably the combined directory contains most.
Yes you can wipe all under _data/ and caches will be recreated.

On admin dashboard, Piwigo only calculate cache size every 5 minutes. That's why. We should improve that by deleting this "cached cache size" when you delete multiple-size or compiled templates.
