Hi,
I have recently found a website that is hosted by Piwigo that has uploaded pornographic content of me without my permission. I did try to contact the website about removing the pictures but they have ignored my request. What steps can I take to getting these photos down?
I don’t really know much about this site so if you could explain in simple terms I would be very appreciative.
Thank you in advance!

"hosted by Piwigo", does that mean piwigo.com? If so, go to their contact page. If not and it's just some site using the Piwigo gallery software, there's nothing anyone here could do. Also note that this forum is just users volunteering helping other users of the Piwigo software.

Hi erAck,
Thank you for the reply. Maybe hosted was the wrong word, when I go to the website it says “powered by Piwigo” at the bottom.
When I click on this “powered by Piwigo” it takes me to piwigo.org
Should I still try the contact page?
Thank you

No. "powered by Piwigo" just says that site uses the Piwigo gallery software.
Use that site's contact page. Piwigo can't help you.

Now that I think about it. There were plans in the works for the engine of tin-eye.
Couple of things could have been done.
Had you had a really good database set up. You could have set up some protections. Additional code that would notify legal eagles that your copyrighted photos has been found where it wasn't allowed.
Then it is a matter of negotiations.
With a great love of event driven triggers, stored procedures and packages. I could envision a world where each photo was checked nightly.
There should be a hook off of Tin-eye that notifies your attorney, the host of the website and the website owner/operator.
Your photo should be unique to your box only within a matter of seconds.
That was the dream for that product !
