I updated to the lates iOS Piwigo App (v2.0.4) on my iPAD and can
no longer see any photos -- a 35mm film cartridge is displayed.
Everything worked OK before the update.
On the server side, I'm running the latest version (according to the
Update menu -- not sure where to find the actual running version...)

Ideas?

Hi MGH,

This is certainly related with your HTTPS configuration. When the server does not redirect HTTP requests, the thumbnails are not loaded. This is a bug that has been discovered recently and which will soon be fixed in the next release (being TestFlight tested). If you wish to try it, send me your name/email.

The same issue appears when the SSL certificate is not valid but I guess that you are not in this case as the problem appears after updating.

Can you please create a temporary account accessing problematic albums from which I could run the iOS app in debug mode? This would help me fix the app.

Indeed, running the iOS app with the debugger revealed that the server was returning warnings before the JSON object, preventing the iOS app to extract the demanded data. So by disabling the output of PHP warnings and notes helps. But please note that it does not fix the issues encountered by the server.

The version 3 of the iOS app will filter data returned by servers to avoid such issues.
