My Piwigo gallery is installed on a webspace. So far it's working fine. I also got video upload to work with Bootstrap Darkroom theme. But there is still the issue with the missing thumbnail. I've seen number of similar questions here in the forum, and most answers are "you need ffmpeg on the server". But probably I'm not able to install that on my webspace.

I also don't understand why thumbnails are not possible in principle. With Wordpress it is also possible to uplaoad videos and there is always a preview image displayed. There is no need to install anything extra. So there should also be a simple solution with Piwigo.

I am grateful for any workflow.
