Hi all,
what triggers the "Not compatible with the latest version of Piwigo" message on https://piwigo.org for extensions?
Example: physical2virtual runs fine on my 15.3.0 piwigo but is marked as "not compatible"
Are there any code changes required to make a plugin compatible? Or how is that decided?
Thanks,
Thomas

It is a decision by the owner of the extension to mark it as compatible with Piwigo 15.
By default, when we (Piwigo Team) add a new Piwigo version in piwigo.org/ext and we know it should not break extensions, we mark all extensions compatible N as compatible with N+1. Then we unmark specific extensions if we know they're going to need some rework.
Considering [extension by JanisV] physical2virtual was not marked as compatible 14, it has not been automatically marked as compatible 15. I think JanisV has not released anything in the last 10 years, so maybe (s)he is out of the project by now.
If you say it works fine with Piwigo 15, I can mark it as compatible. Have you tested all of its administration pages?

Thanks for the quick response. Let me try out a view more settings, ... and report back.
