Ok I see exactly what you want. Usualy, webmaster have to upload their picture in a normal axis.
But members can post a none rotated picture.

Please continue and tell us when it's working or rotating.

You are allowed to change the template and theme and add all the links and banners you want, but obviously your gallery is powered by PWG, not Lexigraph.
It's not fair to remove the original footer informations.
In fact here is the comment in footer.tpl :

I see what you want to achieve, and people aroud there could help you, but let's talk a little bit about this footer message with the team ...
