Hello;
All my images having missing checksums, and when I go to the batch manager, select whole sent and click "Compute 584 missing checksums," nothing happens. I've even tried selecting just one image...same results.
Piwigo version: 2.10 B2
PHP version: 7.3
MySQL version: 5.7.23
Thank you

Hi JTT,
Which web browser do you use? Can you open your web browser console and see if there is any javascript error displayed?

Hello plg;
Thanks for the reply. I use Firefox and just tired with chrome...didn't work either. I checked the Firefox console and had this error after clicking on "compute xxx missing checksum"
Error: Did not auto-fill. 2 background.js:19012:23.
Thanks

Like this animation? Need to check this "Did not auto-fill". Can you screenshot it, so that I understand where it exactly appears?

Screen shot attached....very strange. I clicked the compute xxx missing checksum link several times and nothing in the log, almost like the link is broken ?
Thanks

More like if javascript is broken for any reason, then the link does not work because javascript is broken.

Out of curiosity: do you serve the pages per https and have by chance the Content-Security-Policy header set? If yes, what does it say? It's (much too) easy to get that thing wrong and make Piwigo break at odd places.

Hi
within the RC1 I have the same problem with the non functional "checksum" calculation.
I tried several browser (safari, Google Chrome, Edge, IE11) and several OS (Mac OS, Windows 10, Windows 7, Server 2016) - on all combinations the same result - nothing happens if you click on recalculation link.
Right now - due to the testing state - I run Piwigo only under http.
At least Google chrome should work, if it's really only a javascript issue - I think.
regards Wolfgang
Running Piwigo on
IIS10 under Windows Server 2016
PHP 7.3
MariaDB 10.4.7

I’m getting this too on the release version of 2.10.0. Clicking on “Compute 2053 missing checksums” just doesn’t do anything. Confirmed using Safari and Firefox on a Mac.
Not sure if this is related, but when I load the Batch Manager page, the console shows “SyntaxError: expected expression, got ‘<‘“ in “yn2kqo.js:410:384”

That's useful information. I'm surprised you have a bug with Firefox (but not that much surprised about Safari).

I was able to resolve a non responsive “Compute missing checksums” button by unchecking "combine JS&CSS" box in "admin tools plugin" and then clicking compute.

Confirmed. That worked for me too! Thanks.
Activated Admin Tools plugin, clicked on Tools menu, unchecked “Combine JS&CSS”, purged compiled templates. Then I was able to generate checksums.

You should review javascript that may not have enabled in your browser

I don't have anything like this in my "admin tools" plugin. I just get "open toolbar by default" & "Give access to quick edit..."
The "tools" button at the top right of the screen does nothing.
All sorts of weirdness going on... anyone know how I can produce diagnostics or otherwise, search a logfile?
Not too far off giving up, deleting this and going back to Flickr :-(
Cheers

Hi zeltus,
On which version are you having the problem? Because 2.10beta2 is not the right version to test. Test 2.10.2 or 2.11beta4.
